In response to huge disappointment spreading to the gamer’s community, Projekt Red tweeted on their Cyberpunk 2077 official Twitter account @CyberpunkGame. First and foremost, they apologized for the heartbreaking and extremely disappointing problems faced by Play Station and Xbox One users. Projekt Red was found guilty of not showing the game on base last-gen consoles before it premiered. Secondly, they informed the gamers community about the updates which will be released to fix the most prominent issues. They will be releasing the 1st large patch of update in January which will be followed by the 2nd update patch in February to ensure stability and a seamless gaming experience. Lastly, they informed that those gamers who were left heartbroken and unsatisfied can either wait for the updates or can opt for a refund. Those who purchased the copies digitally are referred to use the refund system of PSN or Xbox respectively. Those who have purchased the box version of the game are referred to their respective stores, they bought it from. If it is not possible to return the game to the store then they need to contact Projekt Red at @email@example.com. Starting today, they will be available to be contacted for a week until December 21st, 2020.
