Cyberpunk 2077 New Gameplay Reaches Photorealism

Cyberpunk 2077 new game-play trailers are getting more frequent as the release date finally gets closer after a long wait. The game was announced way back in 2012 and got the internet hyped right away. But there was a large period of silence from the developers after that. However, we were at total peace with it as they fed us with the glorious art that is called ‘The Witcher 3’ in the meantime.

After proving their credibility with The Witcher 3, CDPR reaffirmed our faith in the futuristic punk-themed adventure. From all the reveals so far, the game seems to be massive in scale in terms of the narrative choices, open-world, and the story.

The gameplay looks like a superior fusion of movements from Doom and gunplay from Wolfenstein, add the hacking mechanics from Deus Ex series and we have Cyberpunk 2077. With the reveal of NvidiaGeforce RTX, Cyberpunk 2077 new gameplay reaches photorealism. Read more about the latest trailer here on The News Engine.

CDPR started intense marketing for its new IP with the introduction of ‘Night City Wire’. Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire is a series of episodes that will feature new information, trailers, and in-depth discussions on the development of the game.

The first episode went live back in June 2020 and gained huge traffic. Details about the story and gameplay were revealed for the first time and met with a positive response from the audience. In August, Episode 2 focused more on the narrative choices and 4 alterations of your character’s origin story.

This was not unexpected from CDPR as they have already proved their excellence when it comes to crafting diverse narrative options for the players in The Witcher 3. Each path you take is unique and has an impact on the main storyline and the game world.

These elements of the game had people more hyped than the graphics. Don’t get us wrong, the game looks great visually, it is certainly not behind in that department. But the graphics did not seem ground-breaking in the earlier previews.

The second Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire episode also dwelled more on the much-awaited character on the game, yes, we are talking about Johnny Silverhand! Perhaps, the most anticipated videogame character of all time, even more than the main character in Cyberpunk 2077 is that portrayed by none other than Keanu Reeves.

From his character model design to the lore, Johnny Silverhand looks like a perfect part to be played by this ‘BREATHTAKING’ celebrity. Consequently, the game is receiving a lot of attention from everywhere and we can’t wait to get our hands on it!

Considering all these amazing elements of the upcoming AAA title, it is reasonable to believe that fans are not bothered half as much by the graphics. But CDPR once again takes us by surprise with the new 40 seconds long preview supported by the upcoming Nvidia GeForce RTX. It really goes on to show that they pay attention to every aspect of the creative process.

Nvidia announced its 30 series on 1st September and revealed a GPU supported preview of Cyberpunk 2077 new gameplay. The small trailer showed impressive volumetric smoke clouds, ray-tracing, and some of the best reflections you can witness in a videogame. It also showcased the illustration of ‘diffuse illumination’, a newer technical achievement that generates softer, directional lights in low light as well as bright areas.

The game uses neon lights very frequently due to its futuristic world setting, so diffuse illumination has a great role to play in making those night times look insanely detailed and gorgeous in the game.

The game will also benefit from ‘Deep Learning Super Sampling’ or DLSS, a new tech that has been incorporated intoNvidia GeForce RTX 30 series. This new feature will boost frame-rates and upscale resolutions using artificial intelligence.

The latest Nvidia graphic cards will comprise of 3070, 3080, and 3090. Nvidia claims that 30 series will provide the best possible experience for Cyberpunk 2077 on PC. Indeed sad news for those who recently bought RTX 2080Ti, as the $499 RTX 3070 is faster than this $1200 card.

The latest preview has made the fans even more excited for Cyberpunk 2077 with the astounding lengths it can reach to bring us a high-quality experience. After two delays, the game is finally supposed to release on November 19th, 2020.

The Nvidia RTX 30 series launches in September, so you have a month’s head start to upgrade your PC and experience Cyberpunk 2077 with all it has to offer.
