Top 10 Most Anticipated Movies of 2021

Although movie dates are often moved around, the year 2020 was exceptional. The avid movie fans, like myself, were left heartbroken when the theaters had to close down. The pandemic has caused the much-awaited movies to be pushed back by a whole year. With things seemingly under control, people are expecting to be in theaters in 2021 to watch their top 10 most anticipated Movies of 2021.

Top 10 Most Anticipated Movies of 2021
While thrilled at the prospect of getting to watch new movies, I am still a bit skeptical about the pandemic. Others who are cautious like me persevere by simply waiting to watch their beloved movies in the comfort of their homes. That’s what my big TV screen and the Spectrum internet plans are for.
#1. The Last Duel
Starring Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Jodie Comer, and Adam Driver, etc. this movie is supposed to be released in early January of 2021. Directed by Ridley Scott, the plot of this movie revolves around a race against history involving knights and maidens.
#2. The King’s Man
Starring famed actors such as Ralph Fiennes, Harris Dickinson, Gemma Arterton, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Charles Dance, Matthew Goode, and Stanley Tucci, etc. Expected to release in early February 2021, this movie will be a third installment from the Kingsman franchise. Directed by Matthew Vaughn, the plot of this film is set in the early 1900s. In this prequel, the audience will see an origin story of how a group of ex-soldiers created the beloved spy agency.
#3. Ghostbusters: Afterlife
This one is expected to launch in theaters in March in 2021 which is one of the Top 10 Most Anticipated Movies of 2021. Directed by Jason Reitman, this movie stars Paul Rudd, Mckenna Grace, Carrie Coon, and Finn Wolfhard, etc. This movie is supposed to be a sequel to the original Ghostbusters franchise and completely unrelated to the one directed by Paul Feig in 2016. Although it was supposed to release in 2020, the COVID-19 outbreak pushed it to 2021.
#4. F9
Directed by Justin Lin, F9 will be another installment from the famed Fast and Furious Series. Starring none other than Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Charlize Theron, Michelle Rodriguez, Lucas Black, and Ludacris, this installment is introducing John Cena as Dom Toretto’s brother.
#5. No Time to Die
Starring the well-known Daniel Craig as 007, this film was also supposed to come out in 2020. However, it is supposed to be released in April of 2021 now. Directed by Cary Fukunaga, this would be the 25th James Bond film. The cast also includes Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rami Malek, and Jeffrey Wright, etc.
#6. Black Widow
Directed by Cate Shortland, this movie was much awaited by the audience in 2020. But, the Coronavirus pandemic also affected its release, pushing it to May 2021. Starring the beloved Scarlett Johansson to resume her role as Black Widow, this film is a prequel focusing on Natasha Romanoff’s origin story.
#7. Sesame Street
This live-action movie is about everyone’s favorite Sesame Street characters. Directed by Jonathan Krisel and starring Anne Hathaway, it would be a delight to watch this movie in June of 2021.
#8. Minions – The Rise of Gru
Directed by Kyle Balda and Brad Abelson, this film’s plot revolves around the young Gru and how the Minions became his to command. Set to release in July 2021, this animated film will definitely be a treat for all.
#9. Top Gun-Maverick
Directed by Joseph Kosinski, this film is also expected to release in July 2021. With Tom Cruise reprising his role, this movie will have a lot of people on the edge of their seats.
#10. Eternals
Directed by Chloé Zhao, this movie is about the powerful immortals who shaped Earth’s history and humanity. Starring Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, KumailNanjiani, and Kit Harington, etc. this movie from Marvel’s Universe is set to be released in November 2021.
Be Safe
It is better to stay home and wait for the movies to become available online so, you can watch them on your big TV screens. Although this doesn’t compare to the cinematic experience, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Last week I too dialed Spectrum phone number so I could upgrade my TV plans. Now I have a great variety of content for the whole family!
